The Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards (CE-SPESS) officially opened the doors to its new state-of-the-art headquarters at the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO). The grand inauguration ceremony was attended by industry leaders, government officials, environmental professionals, and members of academia, marking a significant step forward in Nigeria’s efforts to enhance environmental and social sustainability standards.

The new CE-SPESS building is designed to serve as a hub for innovative research, training, and capacity-building in sustainable procurement and environmental management. It will host workshops, seminars, and training sessions aimed at equipping professionals with the tools and knowledge to meet the environmental and social challenges of today’s fast-evolving global landscape.
