CE-sPESS Programmes
Program Overview: Executive Short and Degree Courses
The Centre is designed to run executive short courses and degree programs in three areas that will eventually evolve into departments. Each of the three programs Procurement Management (PM), Environmental Standards (ES), and Social Standards (SS) will offer five tracks (A - E).
Track A offers executive and short courses (1 to 3 weeks) designed to enhance the skill sets of managers, supervisors, procurement officers, and safety professionals from the public service, private sector, and civil society organizations. It is also suitable for graduates and unemployed individuals who may be interested.
Track B offers advanced certificate courses (9 months) for middle-level and technical personnel who require deeper knowledge to improve their efficiency at work, enabling them to function effectively in their respective public and private organizations. Track B is available upon successful completion of specified Track A modules.
Track C offers a postgraduate diploma program (12 months) designed for individuals with a university degree or HND in related fields who seek to enhance their productivity at work.
Track D is a Master's degree program (18 months) designed to provide graduates with the requisite knowledge and skill set to cope with the challenges of regulating, executing, and monitoring in their chosen specialization. This track offers two types of degrees: the Master of Science (M.Sc.) and the Master of Professional Studies (MPS). Candidates for both degrees must hold a B.Sc. or a postgraduate diploma. M.Sc. candidates will need to prepare and defend a graduation dissertation (6 credits), while Professional Master's candidates will only need to present a long essay (6 credits, but without an oral defense).
Track E offers a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Procurement Management, Environmental Standards, and Social Standards, each requiring 4 years of study.
